New Paradigm

When a manager’s perspective shifts to this . . .

  • The Manager’s success depends on the success of Direct Reports in attaining their goals. The Manager’s Direct Reports are that Manager’s “Key Customers”.
  • The Manager’s role is to assure the success of their Direct Reports.

  • Identifying the needs of their Direct Reports,
  • Removing barriers blocking performance,
  • Reinforcing desired behavior and performance,
  • Treating mistakes as learning experiences (coaching).

. . . the nature of the feedback shifts and becomes increasingly useful and necessary!
