Getting Started & Pre-Session Steps

Prior to starting the MFS™ process, you are guided through a series of steps to plan the process and establish a context for engaging your work team in the process. The objectives of these preliminary steps are to:

• Provide the framework for the Management Feedback System™ process
• Establish a context within your business function and role;
• Identify the dimensions and content areas of the program;
• Establish a clear purpose and reason for conducting the MFS™ process;
• Prepare logistical arrangements such as timing and location;
• Identify the work group and sub groups if appropriate;
• Prepare an announcement to the people you want to involve in the process.

In addition, you will be guided through the steps to accomplish the following:

• Set up your personal data base on Compustar™’s secure web site;
• Complete your own “Self Survey”.
• Prepare yourself to conduct a meeting with the group to give them the information they need to complete their data input process. For further information about this meeting, proceed to Link 2 in this section.
